Mental Health Crisis & Emergency Resources

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or severe emotional distress, please do not wait for a response from our office.

Depending on the situation, you may:

  • Call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for immediate crisis support and assistance identifying appropriate resources.

  • Go to the nearest hospital emergency department for an in-person evaluation, particularly when there are concerns about suicide, self-harm, severe psychiatric symptoms, or an individual's ability to remain safe.

  • Contact a local behavioral-health crisis center or mobile crisis service, when available in your community, for crisis assessment and assistance determining the appropriate level of care.

  • Call 911 when there is an immediate threat to someone's life or safety, a suicide attempt or medical emergency is occurring, or emergency medical assistance is needed.
